"Under" idioms

Today I'm going to learn 5 idioms starting with "under".

1. Under a cloud If someone is under a cloud, they are suspected of having done something wrong.
Ever since the rumours of corruption started, the president has been under a cloud and he probably won't win another election.

2. Under fire - You're under fire if you're being attacked by the media or cricitised by many people.
The Defence Minister has been under fire since it was reported that injured soldiers have been getting poor medical care. 

3. Under lock and keyIf something is under lock and key, it is kept in a very secure place.
Poor Josie. Her parents were very strict and they kept her under lock and key throughout her childhood, so she never learned about life's dangers.

4. Under no circumstances - If you are told that under no circumstances should you do something, you must never do it, no matter what happens.
If the red light is on outside the studio, under no circumstances is anyone to go in there. It means they're recording a song. 

5. Under your own steamIf you do something under your own steam, you do it without anybody's help.
Don't worry about arranging transport for us. We can get there under our own steam
